Memorize Quran — Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 20, 2026

Memorize Quran collects nothing. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, and no advertising. This page explains what that means in practice.

What stays on your device

Everything you create in the app is stored only on your iPhone:

  • Notes you write about verses
  • Which verses you have listened to, and your quiz answers
  • Which vocabulary words you have learned
  • Your reading position, chosen reciter, and text size
  • None of it is sent anywhere. It is removed when you delete the app.

    What leaves your device

The app requests Quran text, translations, and recitation audio from Quran.com's public API as you read. These are ordinary requests for public content — the same as opening a web page. No identifier, account, or personal information is attached to them, and nothing about what you have written or answered is included.

    What we do not do

We do not collect personal data. We do not sell data. We do not track you across apps or websites. We do not show advertising. We do not use analytics. The app does not ask for your microphone, camera, contacts, or location, because it has no use for them.

    Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects nothing from anyone, including children.

    Content sources

Quranic text, translations, and recitations are provided by Quran.com. The English translation is Saheeh International. The Arabic is set in the Amiri Quran typeface, used under the SIL Open Font License.

    Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it.
